Safety for TV studios and mobile units
During a live broadcast, the equipment can never stop. In addition to the power input on the rear panel, the Mini US-5 HRDC and Mini US-5 HR versions also have a 4-pin Hirose connector on the front panel, where you can connect two power supplies, one for channel A and one for channel B.

For those who need quick access to connections and use the device with the connectors facing up, you’ll have access to Power On and RF Peak information on the back of the device.

Stabilized 12VDC power supply for active antennas.
Mini US-5 distributors operate with voltages from 9VDC to 18VDC. The active antennas (bias-t) are powered directly from the input. If using a 10VDC power supply or battery, the bias voltage will be 10VDC, or if the power supply is 18VDC, the bias voltage will be 18VDC. The MINI US-5 HRDC model is equipped with two DC/DC converters that stabilize the active antennas’ power at 12VDC even with inputs ranging from 9VDC to 18VDC.

Reduced weight for air transport.
With rack accessories, the Mini US-5 distributor is an excellent option for reducing weight. Its signal distribution capacity varies with the unit size:
• 1/4 rack unit: up to 5 receivers;
• 1/2 unit: up to 9 receivers;
• 3/4 unit: up to 13 receivers.
• 1 complete unit: up to 17 receivers, using only 4 power points that connect the 4 distributors and 16 receivers. This eliminates the need for a second power distributor, reducing the size of a rack unit and weight.

Versatility in Rack Mounting
The two rack bracket mounting options allow the distributors to be mounted
on the rear of shallow racks or can be mounted recessed to protect the connectors
from accidental impacts from the lids when closing the racks.

5 Rack Mount Configurations.
Six accessories allow the mounting of up to four, distributing RF to up to 17 receivers and power to up to 16 receivers. This brings excellent advantages:
• reduced rack space;
• reduced weight;
• elimination of the number of power distribution strips.

100% of connections on the same face.
Two small panels with supports for BNC and SMA connectors can be
attached to the rear panel of the device to transfer connections from the front panel to the rear
panel, avoiding handling the distributor in the bag to
connect the antennas in the BNC and SMA versions and with the RF 5000
and RG 316 cable options. It can also be mounted on the front panel to transfer cascade connections to the front of the device.

Accessories for use in a bag.
The MINI US-5 PTRC accessory protects the connected cables
so that the device does not rest on the cables
and provides support for a safety lock for the power cables.
The MINI US-5 CLP accessory is a belt clamp.
